Unfortunately, I will have to end Stage Two in Nashville. I still plan on finishing this trip, but I will have to be later this year.
I left Alpharetta hoping that if I got back on the road and got more publicity, more donations would come in. I knew when I left I didn’t have enough funds to get me to Dallas. They got me to Nashville. I was able to get another week on the road and I even registered two more donors.
I will be back on the road after camp. As I did after Stage One, I will pick up where I left off. Stages Two through Five will be done in one continuous route. Nashville to San Francisco.
I will not leave Nashville until I have all the sponsorships and funds I need to complete the trip. I know it will come. I just need patience. This wait will be nothing like the 114,000 patients waiting for organs. I will register a lot more people this year!
Scooting4Donors is not over yet. I will be back in July!
Until then…
I know you will finish this race….just be patient, do what you do best, spreading the word, and you will do this! I LOVE YOU!
Happy 4th of July. We love you Matt.

The world would be a much better place if there were more people like you in it. Despite your multiple health issues, including chronic pain, you attempt remarkable endeavors at personal financial and health risk in order to bring the gift of life to people that you don’t know. I can’t think of a better legacy than to leave part of yourself that offers hope and life to someone that is stuggeling to stay alive.
