Sun City

April 7, 2019September 8, 2019 Matt

Seventy-one miles. What a scooter. I left at 6:15am and went 4 miles in the dark (I have front and rear lights) to get McDonalds. After dawn I went another 35 miles through think fog. I should have brought my jacket. With the moisture and wind it got a little chilly.

Driver met me at Kiki’s Eggs in Fort Meade at 9:15am. Chocolate Pancakes for breakfast desert and back to scooting. It sure does get hot around noon! The last 15 miles were awful, but not as bad as day one. HOT! Extra sunblock helped. Icelandic Glacial is AWESOME! I arrived at Sun City around 1:15pm.

Now we rest. Then I’ll take a dip in the pool. When it cools down near dusk, I’m going to ride around in my Trikaroo and sell, sell, sell. Turns out Sun City is a golf cart community. It’s about to be overrun with Trikes!

I’ll be back on later and share my week’s stats!
